Acrylics, Oils, Watercolours, Sketching with Christine Tysoe
Acrylics, Oils, Watercolours
Wednesday & Thursday 9:00am to 11:30am
Christine grew up in picturesque Inverell, rural NSW, and discovered her passion for colour and all things arty, at an early age.
Having experimented with many different mediums and attending courses in everything imaginable, Christine now favours watercolour, pen and wash, acrylics and oils.
Her forte is portraits, especially children, her grandchildren being a constant inspiration... and colourful floral subjects often from her beloved garden... her second passion after painting.
Christine is a published illustrator of childrens books, a successful art exhibitor and many commissioned works. Now a teacher herself, she aims to help her students develop their own unique style in whatever their chosen subject may be. "being creative should be fun and uplifting... be brave, it's just paint, and if it doesn't work... we'll just paint over it!"
